Today marks an important milestone at ICA–Art Conservation: the final day of Andrea Chevalier’s exceptional 30-year tenure with our organization. As we reflect on her remarkable career, we celebrate a conservator whose dedication, expertise, and spirit have shaped ICA in profound and lasting ways.

Throughout three decades, Andrea has exemplified the highest standards of technical excellence and professional integrity. Her thoughtful, rigorous approach to conservation has earned the trust of clients across the region, while her deep commitment to mentorship has guided countless colleagues and supported emerging conservators as they entered the field.

Andrea’s impact extends far beyond the treatments she performed. Her influence is evident in the culture she helped cultivate—one defined by intellectual curiosity, collaboration, generosity, and an unwavering commitment to the preservation of cultural heritage. These values remain foundational to ICA’s identity and will continue to guide our work for years to come.

As she closes this chapter, we honor Andrea’s extraordinary contributions and celebrate the legacy she leaves behind. Her leadership, talent, and kindness have strengthened ICA in immeasurable ways, and we send her forward with deep appreciation and admiration.
