“Truly one of the places that actually makes Cleveland 'world class'. This location is where great works of art from around the world are sent to be preserved or cleaned or repaired. In order to work here, you have to have a double Master's Degree in both art and chemistry.”

“We were really treated to a treasure right in Cleveland. Not only did everyone we talked with came across friendly, they were also honest and knowledgeable. It was exciting to personally see where the work was being done, not only the oil painting/frame repairs, but also the textiles section. During the months of repair work we had done, they kept us informed of all the steps being taken. We can't say enough good about their eagerness to assist us in every way. I HIGHLY recommend ICA if you need information or help with your family treasures!! (They restored an oil painting with a fancy plaster frame that we found in the basement of our family's home when cleaning the house out. Their research did not yield anything of value but recognized our sentimental value of repairing it anyway. They were as excited as we were!)”

Cleveland Mural (2025.144)

Project Summary – An independent mural artist contacted ICA for assistance in designing a hanging system and installing a large-scale mural in an office building. Working closely with the artist and site stakeholders, ICA developed a custom mounting solution designed with wall conditions and security in mind, ensuring the installation is both secure and reversible while maintaining the integrity of the artwork.
