2023 has been an eventful year here at ICA (Intermuseum Conservation Association). We welcomed two new conservators: Kate Passannante, ICA’s Works on Paper Conservator, and Marika Kesler, ICA’s Textile Conservator. And in April Holly Witchey was named ICA’s Executive Director. ICA is excited to be part of a dynamic arts and social service community in the Pivot Center that enhances our capacity to reach new audiences, deliver core conservation and preservation services, and offer engaging educational programs.

ICA’s founding and enduring purposes are twofold–to provide the best conservation care for irreplaceable art and material culture in service of the community and to offer conservation and preservation information to people of all ages and backgrounds.
