Generous donations ensure the ICA is able to continue its mission of art conservation, preservation, and education. As the first non-profit regional art conservation center in the nation, the ICA relies on contributions from individuals, corporations, and foundations. When you donate to the ICA, you demonstrate your commitment to preserving cultural and historic art and objects. Whether an individual or a corporation, we welcome all who share our sense of mission. Book Sponsorship Program
The ICA maintains an extensive library of reference materials, used regularly by both conservation staff and the education and outreach department. Access to the library is also a benefit of ICA membership. The following individuals and organizations have recently donated materials to the library. Many thanks!
- AXA Art Insurance, Caring for Acrylics: Modern and Contemporary Paintings and Plastic Art–A Precarious Success Story
- Suzanne Jamison, Color Photography: The First Hundred Years, 1840-1940 and The Illustrated History of Color Photography
- Khyentse Foundation, Care and Handling for Thangkas: A Guide for Caretakers
If you would be willing to sponsor the purchase of a book, please contact Director of Education Nicole Hayes. Your generosity will be acknowledged in a bookplate, on this website, and in ICA News Online.
Your ongoing support helps the ICA provide the highest-quality conservation and preservation services, as well as outreach and education that ensure superior training opportunities to collections care professionals and the general public.
