WHAT HAPPENED AT THE ICA?

Richard Buck was the founding director of the Intermuseum Conservation Association in 1952 when the lab opened its doors at Oberlin College as the nation's first nonprofit art conservation center. Originally intended to serve member museums across the Midwest, ICA now serves the needs of individuals and institutions across the country providing services in art conservation for the entire nation.  ICA’s current director is Julie Reilly, a veteran art conservator whose career has taken her as far afield as city planning and urban design policy.
